A lot of people ask where the name Piney Woods Mercantile came from 🌲

Texas is home now, and I’m proud of that — but I was born in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Growing up surrounded by pine trees, forests, and that quiet woodland feeling always stayed with me. Even after moving, the pine woods still feel like home in my heart.

When I started this business, I wanted a name that felt comforting, nostalgic, earthy, and rooted in the things I love most. Piney Woods became that connection between where I came from and where I am now.

So Piney Woods Mercantile isn’t just a business name — it’s a little piece of home, old memories, fresh starts, and the life I’m building here in Texas 🤎
